Reply:My favourite soup has to be asparagus always served with warm crusty bread. Parsnip and coconut soup and sweet potato and carrot are also very good and a little bit different. Soup is a great way to get lots of veg into your diet and is cheap and easy to make. Give them a go if you want to break away from usual soup recipes.
Reply:Mum's garlicky chicken soup when I have a cold. Knocks the stuffing out of those germs and tastes good too!

Roasted veg and tomato. When doing roasted veg for a meal, make extra, and add tomato passata to the leftovers - good for rinsing out the dish to get all the juices. Slowly heat so the flavours blend, then liquidise. Best the day after, when the flavours have had a chance to develop in the fridge overnight. Also good as a pasta sauce if you let it reduce a bit.
