Hi. How far is Covent Garden from the Tate Modern and which tube lines should I get? I'm looking for the quickest and easiest route. Thanks!

Reply:Probably the best way I can think is to go from Leicester Square tube, not far from Covent Garden and change at Embankment for the Circle and District Lines to Blackfriars.
Reply:It is probably less than 30 mins walk. Along the river and then over the Waterloo bridge by the festival hall.
But failing that I think the RV1 bus goes exactly the same way, probably in about 10 mins.
Reply:You need to take the District line from Blackfriars station (towards Ealing Broadway or Wimbledon or Richmond) or the Circle line (towards Embankment) then you can walk a short distance to Covent Garden. Journey time is roughly half and hour. FYI: www.tfl.gov.uk
