I'm meeting up with some friends tonight in convent garden, and just want to find a nice bar, not too expensive, prefeabley not too smokey and near to the tube.....does anyone have any sugestions??
Place to drink in covent garden?
there's a great place called the bunker. its not too smoky or anything but you'll struggle to find decent prices unless you just head for a normal looking pub
Reply:Now this is just me, but I don't think you should be drinkin' in a convent!
Reply:Turn right out of the tube and walk down to the market. Inside there is a couple of courtyards downstairs - might be some musicians playing too.
Reply:There used to be a bar next to Tutton's brasserie...I don't know if its still there, but it used to be pretty fun.
Reply:try looking here www.beerintheevening.com and check out the reviews. Has a lot of pubs - the Porterhouse is pretty good - large selection of beers for casually meeting up with friends...
