Many years ago I visited a huge Dr Martens shop in London. It was located in Covent Garden. Is the shop still there? If not, where can I find a large selection of Dr Martens shoes?
Is there a Dr Martens shop in Covent Garden, London?
There used to be one but I think it shut down. I bought my pair of Doc Martens at one of the Shelley's shoe shops on Oxford St. They have a pretty good selection, and there are a few shops on the whole of Oxford St. Happy shopping :)
Reply:yes its still there,
well it was there a couple of months ago because we passed it when we went to the fred perry shop =)
Reply:The large DM store in Covent Garden closed down about two years ago, because of the high shop rents there.
However, DMs are easily available in most large shoe stores all over London, and especially if you go to the Camden area you will find many shops that sell the widest choice of them.
The company also has a good website :http://drmartens.com/
Reply:Camden is full of Doc Martin and 'copy' Doc Martin shops. Take an 88 bus.
Reply:Camden and it's markets/shops IS the place without a doubt. Best underground stop is Camden Town (it's much quicker than the bus), then just follow the crowds. Be warned though, it's very busy at the weekends.
