Anyone eaten at The Hospital, Covent Garden? Any good?

My mate's just become a Member and is trying to get loads of us down there.

I've been there twice - it's changed hands though. Used to be run by the people that set up a restaurant called Thyme in Clapham. Their original restaurant was fantastic, but when they went to the hospital they massively increased the prices and tried to go too fancy.

The last time I went it was fine - prices had come down a bit, but the food was a bit less out of the ordinary - e.g pretty typical modern british. The decor is great though and they've got very good big round tables for about 8-10 people.

On balance I'd say it's a good, but not outstanding place
Reply:Would much rather go to Belgos
Reply:I'm afraid I wasn't impressed last time I went, sorry. Was a wee while ago, maybe they've changed chefs in the last couple of months!
Reply:YEAH ITS VERY GOOD THERE..THE FOOD IS NICE AND THE STAFF ARE REALLY GOOD .LEAVE A TIP THOUGH OR NEXT TIME URE FOOD MAY GET ABUSED IF U CATCH MY DRIFT HAHA
Reply:Well I haven't actually been there, to be honest, but you can find out all about it on these sites:
