Going out in London on Friday pm?

Hi! what are the good places to go to on Friday pm for pubs, meals, night clubs? I took my date around Covent Garden last Saturday. Any other good places for an evening?

Going out in London on Friday pm?
It's Friday night as a write this - I am spending it right here - however if I was out I would be avoiding Soho and the West End in general (i.e. the most central part of London) - I find you too frequently have to pay to get into bars, the restaurants may be good but may be tourist traps, and there are too many crowds and queues...





I highly recommend Angel for restaurants (there's thousands of them), pubs, and bars, especially if you want to visit a moderately classy locale - nice place for a date.





Also Old Street (this is one of the most popular locations for trendy youth - lots of bars - maybe a bit over-trendy but potentially fun), Brick Lane (closest tube Liverpool Street - more trendy bars, and lots of curry houses)





Camden Town (blighted by the presence of low lives, but friendly and good fun, with lots of good pubs, indie clubs, some places to eat)

you have chinatown and lots of other good places as well.
